हम प्रवासियों को मात्र प्रवासी समझकर उनको कम आंकते हैं या राजनीतिक क्षेत्र में आदर्श व तीन तलाक जैसे सामजिक मुद्दों पर प्रगतिशीलता का परिचय देकर उनको विकसित होते भारत का विश्वास दिलाते हुये निवेश आकर्षित करने में एक पुल के रुप में मानते हैं , यह राष्ट्रीय नेतृत्व के साथ समूचे राष्ट्र की समझ पर निर्भर करता है । भारत को अपने अनुभवों के माध्यम से ' समृद्ध भारत ' बनाने की प्रवासियों की जिजीविषा भी बेहद महत्वपूर्ण है ।
सरकारी आंकड़ों के अनुमान के मुताबिक भारत के 3 करोड़ 12 लाख जन विदेशो में रहते हैं । वर्तमान में आईटी , शिक्षा , विज्ञान व प्रौद्योगिकी क्षेत्र से लेकर पुर्तगाल व आयरलैंड के शासनाध्यक्ष के रुप में हमारे भारतीयों की पहुँच है ।अपनी बढ़ती विदेशो में साख के साथ हमारी अर्थव्यवस्था नये मुकाम हासिल कर सकती है । लेकिन हमें यह भी ध्यान रखना होगा हमारा डाय्स्पोरा जिन समस्याओ से जूझ रहा है उनकी पहचान कर , सार्थक प्रयास किये जायें । एक ऐसा तंत्र विकसित किया जा सकता है जो इनकी हर आर्थिक , सामाजिक या अन्य सभी समस्या को संज्ञान में लेकर उचित कार्यवाही करने में सक्षम हो ।
हमें इस स्मार्ट ऊर्जा का संतुलित उपयोग योग ,आयुर्वेद , प्राचीन ज्ञान के साथ संस्कृति क्षेत्र के प्रचार प्रसार में करना होगा । यदि हम अपनी सॉफ्ट पावर का सकारात्मक उपयोग करेंगे तो न सिर्फ हमारी अंतराष्ट्रीय जगत में प्रतिष्ठा बढेगी बल्कि विश्व गुरु बनने का मार्ग भी प्रशस्त होगा ।

People of Indian origin live in almost all countries of the world. There is abundant strength to give a new direction to the country in this Indian diaspora. That is why our Prime Minister, President and Vice-President underlined their importance in the First Parliament Overseas Conference held on 9 January. But the important thing is how well any nation can exploit its diaspora resources.
We consider immigrants lesser than them as an expatriate, or by introducing progressiveness on social issues such as Ideal and Three Divorce in the political arena and assuring them as India's development as a bridge in attracting investment, it is the national leadership. Along with the understanding of the whole nation. The survival of migrants to make India a 'rich India' through its experiences is also very important.
According to estimates of government figures, India's 30 million people live in foreign countries. At present, our Indian has access to IT, education, science and technology, as the head of the Government of Portugal and Ireland. With our credentials in growing foreign countries, our economy can get a new peak. But we must also keep in mind that our Diaspora is struggling with the problems, identify and make meaningful efforts. A mechanism can be developed that will be able to take proper action by taking cognizance of every economic, social or all other problem.
We have to make balanced use of this smart energy in propagation of the culture area with yoga, ayurveda, ancient knowledge. If we use our soft power positively, our prestige will increase not only in the world but also the path to becoming a world guru.
